1. When the actuals prove your estimates were optimistic, what is your first reaction? What action do you take? What would you like your reaction and action to be?

2. When you suspect that your estimates were optimistic, who do you tell about that? How do you feel about telling them?

3. On your project or in your organization, do schedule slippages seem to recur on a regular basis? How far in advance of the scheduled date does the slippage become generally known?

4. How often do you ask your peers or those who report to you about what they’ve learned? What use do you make of that information?
