  • The SAX project (http://sax.sourceforge.net) is being developed within the SourceForge Open Source Development Network.

  • David Megginson's original SAX project (http://www.megginson.com/SAX). This site is no longer updated; the only official source of the latest information is the SourceForge site. However, there is interesting historical material related to SAX, and David has other useful work there.

  • Java XML Representations Benchmark (http://www.sosnoski.com/opensrc/xmlbench/index.html). Dennis Sosnoski has developed benchmarks to test software that manipulates XML documents. He has also benchmarked several popular suites.

  • Apache Crimson (http://xml.apache.org/crimson). Information about the Crimson project.

  • Apache Xerces for Java (http://xml.apache.org/xerces-). The Apache XML Project site also hosts information on the Xerces project.

  • JAXP (http://java.sun.com/xml/jaxp). More information on the JAXP API can be found here. You may also want to look at Sun's other XML initiatives. Sun has been a leading contributor for quite a while.
