5S Supply List
As you begin your journey, you will need to purchase implementation supplies.
Supply selection depends on how each organization will incorporate 5Spractices
into its culture and process. The list of supplies will change over time as addi-
tions are made. However, there are common tools and supplies used in every
5Simplementation; it is recommended to start with the following items:
Pegboard
Paint (your choice of colors)
Paint pens (shadow boards)
Peg anchors (variety of styles)
Label maker
Label cartridges
Scissors
Floor tape (various colors)
Clipboards
Box cutters
Tape measure (100 feet)
Tape measure (12 feet)
Velcro tape
Glue gun
Stencils (A–Z and 1–10)
Red tags
