Why this matters

One of the first questions I ask my new customers is whether they’re having fun at work.

Almost none say “yes”; most replies being “no”, “not really”, “not at the minute”, “I will do when X is finished” and “I will do when Y leaves me alone”. I also get the occasional “it’s going OK”.

Admittedly, I probably have a skewed sample – after all, they’ve just asked me to help them with something. So, let me ask you.

If you said three yeses, that’s great (and very rare!). If not, this section will help you do something about it, by showing how to enjoy your dealings with others. As with the other sections, it contains lots of small chapters, so you can roll your snowball and pick up easy techniques as you go.

You go to work for thousands of days in your lifetime. You might as well really enjoy them. Let’s look at easy ways to help you do so.
