Adding a button to the collection view header

As shown in the app tour in Chapter 9, Setting Up the Basic Structure, there is a LOCATION button at the top right-hand side of the screen. In this section, you'll add a button to the collection view section header, which will eventually become the LOCATION button. Follow these steps to do so:

  1. Make sure the Explore View Controller Scene is selected. Then, click the Object library button:

  1. Type button in the filter field:

Button will appear in the results.

  1. Drag the Button object to the Collection Reusable View:

  1. Position the Button object to the right-hand side of the Collection Reusable View:

Its exact placement isn't important right now as you will customize the button's position in Chapter 12, Modifying and Configuring Cells. You now have a button in your collection view section header. Next, you will add a view controller scene to represent the Locations screen that will appear when the button is tapped.
