In the previous chapter, you used ExploreData.plist to provide data for the list of cuisines in the Explore screen. You will do the same for the Locations screen, but create the .plist file from scratch instead. Follow these steps to do so:

1. Right-click the Model folder in the Location folder and choose New File.
2. iOS should already be selected. Type proper into the filter field; Property List will appear. Choose Property List and click Next.
3. Name the file Locations, and click Create.

The Locations.plist file has been added to the project. In the next section, you will learn how to configure and add data to your .plist file.
