ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Anese Cavanaugh is an award-winning speaker, teacher, advisor, and thinking partner to some of today’s most innovative organizations and business leaders around the world. She is devoted to helping people show up and bring their best selves to the table in order to create significant positive impact in their lives and organizations (while feeling great doing so). In addition to creating and teaching the IEP Method® (Intentional Energetic Presence®), she speaks on leadership, showing up, being positively contagious, nourishing our relationship with ourselves, and creating a healthy culture.

As a leading voice on intention, energy, and presence in leadership and culture, she helps people clarify their intentions and intuition, transform “busy” and “burnout” into productive fuel, enjoy (and like) themselves more, and use their leadership superpowers for good in the world—all in service of unlocking greater leadership potential, collaboration, and impact.

Clients and program participants say that she “builds creative leaders,” “brings love back into business,” “gets people having real conversations,” and “unlocks potential,” and that she is “changing the conversation around self-care and self-kind in service of leadership and impact.” Her work is based upon the premise that in order to show up and lead at our best, we must be present, show up for ourselves, be clear and clean in our intentions, and be in service of others.

She is the author of Contagious Culture: Show Up, Set the Tone, and Intentionally Create an Organization that Thrives and The Leader You Will Be: An Invitation (a leadership storybook). She speaks regularly on stages around the country and has guest-lectured for law enforcement, at Stanford (business and d.school), at the University of Michigan, and for additional universities and educational organizations.

In addition to being an active entrepreneur, advisor, author, speaker, movement maker, and lover of the human spirit and impact, she is also mom to two amazing kids and two riley rescue dogs in Northern California.

You can find more from her on her blog, on podcasts, on Inc.com, and in publications such as the Harvard Business Review, Huffington Post, Thrive Global, Forbes, CEO.com, and others. You can also find additional resources to support you in your own leadership at:
