Decoupage or gel medium
1. Cover your work space with newspaper or large craft paper.
2. Tear strips along the 10" (25.4 cm) side of the black and white papers. The strips will be 8" (20.3 cm) long.
3. Place the strips on the contrasting gray cardstock in the design of your choice. Place as many as you can fit. Fill the space from top to bottom and allow the contrasting gray color to show. This makes a painterly wave.
4. Brush the decoupage medium onto the back of your strips and glue down your design.
5. Weight under a heavy book until dry.
