B.8. IONA's XMLBus
IONA has been a technology innovator in CORBA-based architecture and middleware products. It has extended the coverage to Web Services. XMLBus is its flagship product (refer to its product architecture in Figure B-5). It has an integrated developer environment. It can expose CORBA objects as Web Services.
Orbix2A XMLBus
XMLBus automatically wraps and deploys applications as Web Services (URLs to WSDLs). It has a new Web Services container and XMLBus Archive (XAR). XMLBus comes with a developer IDE platform called Web Service Builder. There is a specialized UDDI browser available.
