Yogurt & Granola Parfait

Yogurt parfaits can get pricey in the school cafeteria, but you vcan make them yourself and also save some money. Greek yogurt is ideal for this recipe since it’s high in hunger-fighting protein and bone-building calcium.

PER SERVING 308 CALORIES      TOTAL TIME 5 MINUTES     GROCERIES 4 INGREDIENTS

Makes: 2 servings

Serving size: 1½ cups

1½ cups nonfat plain Greek yogurt

2 tbsp honey

1 cup fresh berries (any variety)

½ cup granola

  1. Place a few heaping spoonfuls of the yogurt in the bottom of 2 jars or bowls.
  2. Drizzle each serving with 1 tablespoon of honey and then top with ½ cup of the berries followed by ¼ cup of the granola.
  3. Top each serving with two more heaping spoonfuls of the yogurt. Serve promptly or cover and store in the fridge for up to 1 day.

{TIP}

To make ahead, layer the fruit, honey, and yogurt into the jars or bowls and cover tightly. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days. Top with the granola just prior to serving.

Per serving: 9g fat, 1g saturated fat, 49g carbohydrates, 14g protein
