Appendix A: Menu Commands

This appendix lists all of the Sony a7/a7R menu commands in order of the camera’s six main menu groups, moving from top-left to right: Camera Settings, Custom Settings, Wireless, Applications, Playback, and Setup. Each main menu section is further broken into pages and within each page is a list of commands. A few of the commands have pages within them.

The following list of commands has each main section broken into pages with the Menu name and page number labeled in a black bar. Below that we have relisted the title description row for easy reminder. Many of the commands are simple [On] and [Off], but there are also commands with long lists of options, and commands with subcommands within them.

Each main command and its description are highlighted in gray. The commands’ available options and their descriptions are listed below the command. Note that the commands’ default options are denoted by the addition of “(Default).”

Example 1 shows a command with two options, where Option 1 is the default.

A few of the main commands have subcommands. The subcommand options are listed within the main command and then further broken out with their individual options. Example 2 shows a command with two subcommands, along with their options, where Subcommand 2 and Suboption 2 are the defaults.
