Sensor data is very important, as it holds very sensitive information, such as patient heart rates or the temperature of a sick person. The loss of this data can result in an error in prediction or data analysis. In this chapter, you learned about how to work with streaming sensor data. We discussed what data lakes are, and how they can enable the batch processing of streaming data.
