In this chapter, you learned how to create a parameter table that is used to hold default values and other settings for your module. You also learned how to create a number sequence to be used with an identifier field and how to take advantage of the security framework within AX in order to lock down the module.

This should enable you to create a module in AX that follows the standard principals used by the rest of the modules in AX.

In the next chapter, you will learn how to use .NET assemblies in X++ and look at some of the possibilities the common language runtime give us in AX.

We will also make some simple .NET programs that use the .NET Business Connector to execute functionality in AX and get results.
