Java containers are the major components of the test environment. Arquillian tests can be executed in any compatible container. Arquillian selects the container to choose where the container adapter is made available in the classpath. These container adapters control and help in communicating with the containers. Arquillian test cases can even be executed without JVM-based containers. We can use the @RunsClientto annotation to execute the test cases outside of the Java container.
