We can get the dataset from the website of the University of Oxford at http://www.robots.ox.ac.uk/~vgg/data/pets/. We need to download the dataset and ground truth data as images.tar.gz and annotations.tar.gz. We store the TAR files in the data/datasets folder and extract all the .tar files. Make sure that the data folder has the following structure:
