The systems in this section focus on enabling rich visualization and exploration of the data that lives on Web pages. The Web Summaries system lets users semiautomatically collect and organize data from multiple Web pages using personalized cards and task-oriented search templates. The Zoetrope system provides an interface for exploring Web data over time through interactive lenses that can be placed directly on Web pages and combined to answer specific questions, such as how weather affects traffic. The RecipeSheet system extends the C3W system described in the previous section to provide parallel exploration of alternative scenarios. This ability is especially important when the user is looking for a collection of items and wants to change a parameter that affects all scenarios.
