The goal of this chapter was to give you a starting point, to get familiar with the strong capabilities of the WLST, customizing WLST and custom MBeans features.

WLST is used by many advanced WebLogic administrators to ease up their administrator tasks, but it also gives you a good knowledge of how your Oracle WebLogic domain is built up, and how you can configure it and do tasks in a structured and automated way, which will increase the capabilities of your systems.

From this point, I advise you to write smart scripts for doing deployments, managing and configuring and monitoring the state of your entire WebLogic domain. At some point, you could integrate your scripts with other tools you use in your company, perhaps an ANT-based deployment tool, a versioning tool, or a monitoring tool.
