Izaak de Hullu is a senior architect with Amis Services in Nieuwegein, the Netherlands. He has worked on enterprise integration projects with Java, Oracle Fusion Middleware, BEA Aqualogic, and Cordys for the last eight years. In those years, he has gained experience with the WebLogic Application Server versions 8 and up. Before that he worked as a knowledge engineer designing and building knowledge-based systems for a large Dutch government organization. He holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science, specializing in Information and Knowledge Engineering, at the University of Twente [NL]. He lives in Amstelveen with his wife and three daughters. In his free time he likes to read about modern history, to cook with friends, and to play guitar.
Balamurali Kothandaraman (Bala) has more than 15 years of experience in IT architecture, including full blueprint of reference and enterprise architecture. He is currently working as a director of Enterprise Architecture with Standard and Poor's (S&P), a division of the McGraw-Hill Companies, leading efforts to design, develop, and implement technology-enabled business information solutions encompassing multiple specializations, platforms, and technologies. Prior to S&P he worked for more than nine years with Oracle | BEA Systems Inc. as a Principal Technologist and for many consulting houses such as 3i Infotech, Technosoft, and HCL Technologies, where he designed, developed, and implemented enterprise solutions for various customers.

Wickes Potgieter has been working as a product specialist for over 10 years. His main focus was on the BEA WebLogic suite of products and after the Oracle acquisition of BEA Systems, focused on the Oracle Fusion Middleware suite of products. His experience ranges from architecture and infrastructure design, administration, development, pre-sales, training-to-performance tuning of the Oracle Fusion Middleware products, JVM, and custom applications.
He and his colleague formed a specialized consulting company in 2003 with offices in the United Kingdom and South Africa, covering customers in the EMEA region. They are Oracle Gold partners and have 30 technical consultants specializing on the Oracle Red Stack of products.
