Keynote Speeches

Quiet Influence: How Introverts Make a Difference

The key message of this session is that you don’t have to act like an extrovert to make an impact. In this interactive presentation, Jennifer draws upon important lessons from highly effective Quiet Influencers. Participants learn how to make the most of six natural strengths to challenge the status quo, provoke new ways of thinking, effect change, and inspire others to move forward. They learn a powerful process for raising their Quiet Influence Quotient (QIQ). Both introverts and extroverts gain awareness and knowledge from this powerful presentation.

The Introverted Leader: Building on Your Quiet Strength

In this enlightening and highly engaging program, Jennifer draws upon stories and research from her book of the same name to show how introverts can succeed as leaders and work with, not against, who they are. Participants learn about the characteristics of introverts, the 4 Ps success strategies of introverted leaders, and why our organizations can’t afford to miss out on the invaluable contributions of their quieter employees.

In-House Seminars

Jennifer’s highly rated workshops take a deep dive into work challenges by applying key tools and principles of introverted leadership and influence. Two popular seminars are The Introverted Leader and Quiet Influence, both of which include content from her popular keynote speeches, self-assessments, workbooks, case studies, and role-plays. She also works with organizations to custom design programs using modules that include Networking, Coaching, Focused Conversations, and Thoughtful Use of Social Media.

Webinars

An expert in the use of distant learning technologies, Jennifer offers webinars that range between one and two hours in length. Webinars are an efficient way of delivering program content in a short period of time while reducing travel costs. Both keynotes and seminar topics can be adapted to this format.

Self-Directed Learning Opportunities

Books

Print books or digital editions of the Quiet Influence: The Introvert’s Guide to Making a Difference and The Introverted Leader: Building on Your Quiet Strength can be included with all keynote, seminar, and self-directed learning programs at a significantly reduced cost.

“Learning Bursts”

The Introverted Leader program is available through a unique and innovative learning method called the “Learning Burst.” Through a unique partnership with consultant and author Dave Basarab, this process gives participants an opportunity to learn without having to disrupt their daily workflow. A Learning Burst is a combination of a ten-minute audiocast and a workbook of supporting material. The workbook contains easy digestible summaries, quizzes, and exercises to apply and cement the learning points. Audio segments are in mp3 format. Coaching

Group Coaching

Introverted (and extroverted) participants gain great value by discussing provocative questions after seminars and keynotes. Jennifer provides a series of small, extended post-session coaching groups via phone or Skype to give participants an opportunity to engage in focused conversations and problem solving. They share successes, present challenges, and receive peer feedback and clear direction in the safe environment she creates. Group coaching also helps the keynote or seminar’s messages “stick” in a lasting and meaningful way.
