roughly 1 1/2′ of 3/16″ copper tube

a 1-pint creamer carton (A quart or half-gallon milk carton works, too.)

a small metal dish, such as a jar lid or empty lip balm container

some cotton balls

rubbing alcohol (This is usually 70 percent ethyl or isopropyl alcohol; any alcohol that is high enough proof to burn is fine.)

a large piece of scrap wood and either several angle brackets or some smaller trim scraps and wood screws

room temperature vulcanizing rubber or any similar silicone-based household glue

(optional) a second metal dish to use as a snuffer for your alcohol burner
