There is still one more basic picklist to add to the Positions object, one that allows the user to select one or more defined values from a list. This picklist is called a multi-select picklist, and the interface for this picklist presents two columns to the user for selection of values.

3. | You can see that the first step of defining a multi-select picklist includes all the fields you used to define a picklist, with one additional field where you can indicate how many lines should be displayed in the selection list box. If you enter more values than visible lines, the list box includes a scroll bar. Enter the following values for the new picklist, along with an appropriate description and help text:
You specified nine visible lines since each of the columns used to implement this picklist also has a title. | ||||||||||

The new picklist displays more of the built-in functionality of the Force Platform. A multi-select picklist includes two list boxes for value selection and arrow buttons to move the selections between the boxes. When a user selects more than one value, multiple values are stored in the field.
The Force Platform gives you one more choice for default picklist functionality.
