Watch It Work

It seemed easy to add this somewhat sophisticated functionality to your application—maybe even too easy. As always with the Force Platform, you can verify the new functionality of your application by running it.

1.	Click the Positions tab and select a position.
2.	Scroll to the Job Applications related list, as shown below. You can see that your custom button is part of this section of the page. Figure 173. The new Job Applications related list [View full size image]
3.	Select one or more Job Applications and click Update Status to bring up the populated page, as shown in the figure below. Figure 174. Your Visualforce Page in (mass) action [View full size image]
4.	Choose a status for the selected records and click Save. You will be sent back to the Position page, where you can see that your Visualforce page did take the appropriate action.

This last feat concludes the exploration of standard set controllers and Visualforce pages.
