Orchestration is configured by vRealize Orchestrator and helps automate tasks and remediation actions, including integration with third-party IT operations software.

vRealize Orchestrator has:

• A workflow designer which enables an easy-to-use drag and drop interface to design workflows. The designer supports Windows, Linux, and Mac desktops.
• A scripting designer creates or imports building blocks for the vRealize Orchestrator platform.
• An orchestration engine which runs the workflows and associated scripts.

The default deployment has a built-in workflow library with common tasks. Workflows are versioned and packaged to assist in change management.
