S130 is a Bluetooth Low Energy multi-link protocol stack solution with four role connections. It can perform central, peripheral, broadcaster and observer connections. BLE controller and host are provided with flexible API to build BLE SoC applications. The key features of S130 are:

ANT is an ultra-low power, short distance wireless technology that works on 2.4 GHz ISM band. S210 is for ANT based networks and is not discussed in this book.
