Aircrack is a software suite for a network that consists of a network detector, packet sniffer, and WEP/WPA2 cracker. It is open source, built for 802.11 wireless LANs. It consists of various tools such as aircrack-ng, airmon-ng, airdecap, aireplay-ng, and packetforge-ng. In this recipe, we will cover the basics of cracking wireless networks with the Aircrack suite.
