Creating repositories

When using CVS to create repositories, you have to set up a CVSROOT location where versioning data is stored. Then, you have to import projects into that location and create a working copy somewhere else. This is much easier and more logical with Git since you just implement git init && git add . && git commit in an existing directory only once a .git directory is created with repository meta information.
