Found in the config/software/ folder, it contains all of the software that is part of the omnibus install. For instance, if you want to use PostgreSQL (a relational database), you will find the configuration, the license, its dependencies, and instructions on how to build or get the software. Sometimes, a patch is needed and that will be incorporated too.
