Summary

In this chapter, you were introduced to OpenSSO administration interfaces, a browser-based administrative console, and a command line interface called ssoadm. There are more subcommands that will be introduced as you progress through the book. Administrative console provides more flexibilities to access them than its command line counterpart. Yet, the command line interface provides certain functionalities such as exporting server configuration data that is not available from the console. I'm sure you are pretty excited to know what will be coming in the next chapter. Next, I'm going to dive deep into the nitty-gritty details of the services provided by OpenSSO, including Authentication and Session. Authentication and Session works in tandem to issue a Single Sign-On token to a user request.
