Unless your user experience is such that it is entirely different from that offered by the standard UIs, always try to retain as much of the standard UIs as you can. The platform provides a number of ways to do this, which we will be exploring through this chapter and the next. In this section, we will explore ways to embed parts of a custom UI in specific regions of the standard UI, and vice versa.
