A: Here are a few possible reasons:

- Check that fping has the correct permissions so that it can run as root. For this we need to set the setuid bit on the Zabbix server.
- Make sure SELinux does not prevent Zabbix from running fping. The grep fping /var/log/audit/audit.log command might reveal more information.
