Shooting Schedule: 3

The schedule can be compiled as one large document, which can be quite heavy to carry around, or it can be made up as a number of smaller documents, such as:

Artists’ Information Pack

This will contain all the information needed by the cast, i.e.

• the cast list
• the production team
• ‘at-a-glance’ schedule
• hotel information for cast members
• artists’ movements and hotel booking chart
• travel information
• location list
• useful telephone numbers

Travel Information

This might come as a separate document which can be left in the unit vehicles. It would contain:

• names, addresses and telephone numbers of locations
• detailed instructions on how to get to the location
• any relevant maps

Daily Call Sheets

If shooting is planned on a daily basis, call sheets will be issued each day for the following day’s shoot by the second AD or production manager.
