Throughout the previous few pages, we have already been viewing RSoP data. RSoP is the "end result" of which settings are sitting on a machine after all tiers of Group Policy processing have finished. The GPResult command is useful for displaying this kind of information for us, but there is another tool called RSOP.MSC that can also be used to take a look at the data in a slightly different way.
Log in to one of your machines, open Command Prompt, and simply type RSOP. Then press Enter. A new window will open that allows you to browse through all of the policy settings currently applied to your machine. The layout is the same as Group Policy Editor, so this can be another useful way of tracking down the location of a particular setting if you have a need to edit the GPO and change it.
In the following screenshot, I have run RSOP.MSC on my workstation. Drilling down into the menus, I have easily discovered the policy setting that is applying my blue desktop wallpaper to this machine:
