This chapter explained how to get started with using BigQuery API. The API provides the extensibility and flexibility needed for users to design applications as per their organization's standards and architecture. You now understand the roles and permissions in BigQuery. Google is also now piloting a new Roles feature in the IAM and admin section where the admins can create granular-level permissions for their teams across various services such as BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage, and Cloud Datastore, and use that as a template to grant permissions to their team members.
