Annotating Your Manual
For the Practitioner, write reference stuff in your manual, but only where it’s helpful. If, as you revise, you realise that something in the manual isn’t particularly clear and you’re likely to be confused in the exam if you consult it, write a brief explanatory note in your manual. Don’t overdo the notes though; if they’re so dense that you can’t see the wood for the trees, you won’t find the one you’re looking for.
