Technical requirements

The following are the software and hardware prerequisites of this project:

This project has been tested on ROS Indigo, and the code is compatible with ROS Kinetic too; however, the Leap Motion SDK is still in development for Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. So, here, the code is tested using Ubuntu 14.04.5 and ROS Indigo.

Here are the estimated timelines and testing platform that we will use:

  • Estimated learning time: 90 minutes (on average)
  • Project build time (inclusive of compile and runtime): 60 minutes (on average)
