Assigning values

With the preview images in place, we can finish setting the remaining GameObject values. For this process, it is helpful to select all of the Preview images in a single Gallery. When selected using this method, we can apply multiple values at one time. Follow the steps below to set the public variables for the Preview images. All values should be set in the Inspector window:

  1. Select Preview (1) thru Preview (5) in the first Gallery. Selection can be verified by viewing the highlighted elements in the Hierarchy window and preview space at the bottom of the Inspector window.
  2. Enter a name for this collection of images in the Category Title Name field in the Image Selector (Script) component in the Inspector window.
  3. Drag the Gallery's CategoryTitle GameObject from the Hierarchy window to the Category Title field.
  4. Drag the Gallery's FullImage GameObject from the Hierarchy window to the Full Image field.
  5. Drag the Gallery's Highlight material from the Project window to the Highlight Material field.
  6. Save the scene and project. Set the following values for each Gallery:
    • (a) Selected Preview GameObjects
    • (b) Add gallery title text
    • (c) Drag gallery text GameObject
    • (d) Drag FullImage GameObject
    • (e) Set Hilight Material:
