About the Technical Reviewer

Mark Edelman is program director and cofounder of the nonprofit Playing At Learning. Playing At Learning coordinates the Junior FIRST LEGO League, the FIRST LEGO League, and the FIRST Tech Challenge programs for Northern California. Mark is active in Northern California youth robotics, having coached and mentored Botball, FIRST LEGO League, FIRST Tech Challenge, and FIRST Robotics teams. He is an advocate for hands-on learning programs, particularly those structured around engineering, technology, and experimentation.
