In this chapter we learned how to create, add, and deploy on of the most basic services of Azure Stack—virtual machines. We saw that there are two options to add and deploy them, either as a Marketplace item or as a custom virtual machine image using Azure Resource Management template.

In the next chapter we will learn how this virtual machine image or Marketplace item may be offered to your tenants.
