About the Technical Reviewers

Scott Morris, CCIE No. 4713, has more than 15 years experience in telecommunications, network design, and installation. He is a triple CCIE (Routing and Switching, ISP/Dial, and Security) and has specialties in various fields of technology, including security, IP telephony, and cable (RF) internetworking. Scott is a certified Cisco Systems instructor and has taught classes on many advanced topics in his specialty areas and other advanced routing, MPLS, and troubleshooting topics. Currently, Scott is an independent contractor with Uber-Geek Networks (www.uber-geek.net). Previously, he was with Mentor Technologies along with Donna and traveled all over the world delivering Cisco curricula. These days, in addition to delivering Cisco courses, Scott also works on developing courses within his specialty areas.

Rick Burts, CCIE No. 4615, has more than 20 years experience with computers and computer networks. Rick is a certified Cisco Systems instructor. In addition to having taught a variety of Cisco courses, including the Cisco Internetwork Troubleshooting course, Rick has taught with Donna at Mentor Technologies. Since then, Rick joined Chesapeake NetCraftsmen (www.netcraftsmen.net) where he is a senior consultant. In his current position, Rick deals with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting issues in addition to teaching courses.

Marty Adkins, CCIE No. 1289, is a senior consultant with Chesapeake NetCraftsmen, LLC, based in the Washington, D.C., metro area (www.netcraftsmen.net). He is an electrical engineer with more than 25 years experience in networking and telecommunications. Previously, he was with Chesapeake Computer Consultants (a.k.a, Mentor Technologies) for eight years as a senior consultant and certified Cisco Systems instructor, where he delighted in teaching the Cisco Internetwork Troubleshooting course.

Mark T. Olivo has been in the computer field for more than 26 years, with more than 20 years of teaching experience. He has more than 70 different computer industry certifications from 12 different vendors, including CCNP and CCDP. Mark is currently employed as a technical trainer and courseware developer for SMARTS (System Management Arts) and works on outside projects as time allows. Mark has known Donna for many years and has worked with her at three different companies.

Christopher M. Heffner, CCIE No. 8211, has been in the networking, telecommunications, and design fields for more than 19 years. He is a certified Cisco Systems instructor and contract instructor for the past eight years in the Cisco, Microsoft, Novell, and Lotus Notes curricula. Chris earned his CCIE in Routing and Switching in September 2001, and is currently working on his CCIE in Security. Chris is the owner of Certified Labs and Strategic Network Solutions, Inc., which offers Cisco certification preparation including remote labs access, practical lab scenarios, exam prep guides, and web-based practice exams for Cisco CCIE, CCNP, CCSP, and CCNA certifications.
