Object-Level Security

Object-level security is governed by the profile and permission sets assigned to the user. Profiles control data access for a group of users on the level of objects and fields. Permission sets also control data access at the object and field level, but are designed to maximize reuse and flexibility. This section describes profiles and permission sets and how they are configured.
