AWS root account

Since the usage of the AWS services is charged based on the resources used, the AWS account represents a business account between the user and the AWS Cloud. The AWS root account has the privileges to manage the services and resources. Using this account for day-to-day operations is risky. Hence, one of the most important best practices while using the AWS Cloud is to avoid creating an AWS access key for the root account. Instead, you can create separate user accounts in the Identity Access Management (IAM). The users can then be provided with the required permissions for performing their day-to-day tasks.
