A hybrid cloud application must be architected to leverage the full potential of the cloud offerings. However, organizations may have some legacy applications that are business critical and may not be suited for the hybrid cloud environment. Unless you have a highly skilled application architect who can migrate the application or redesign it, it is best to have such an application running on the legacy data center to avoid impacting the business.
