Succulents make a great addition to any home. Once you’ve found and potted the right plants for you, it’s time to show them off. Find the perfect spot in your home for your plants and use some of these ideas to really get your arrangement noticed!

consider the room

A fun way to show off your succulents is by planting them in a container that goes along with the room in which they’re displayed. Try planting succulents in a colander and keep it on the kitchen table. If you live in a small space, put your succulents up on a shelf on the wall.

plan for water runoff

You’ve made a great choice and selected pots with a drainage hole. But even an hour or two after watering, you may still have some water drip out the bottom of the pot. Place your succulents on coasters or on a tray. This adds some visual interest and also prevents your shelf or ottoman from getting wet.

groupings

If you have a few smaller arrangements, try grouping them together for extra impact. Whether they are on a shelf or windowsill, you’ll love the way they look together. Use coordinating or matching pots to get a more unified look.

give them height

While placing succulents on a table or windowsill looks great, add even more visual interest by giving your succulents extra height. Try displaying them on a decorative plant stand. You can also set small arrangements on a candlestick to really make them stand out.
