AUDIO FILE TYPES
| WAV Waveform Audio File | A common format for high-quality, uncompressed audio tracks. WAV formats typically result in a large file size. |
| AIFF Audio Interchange File | A file format for high-quality uncompresssed tracks. AIFF formats typically result in a large file size. |
| MP3 MPEG Audio | A popular format for compressed, smaller sized files. |
| M4A MPEG 4 Audio | A compressed file format used by Apple iTunes and some voice memo programs. An M4A file can be played on a variety of platforms, though they are not always supported by video editing programs. |
