THE POWER OF INTENTION IN COMMUNICATION

Having an intention is one of the most powerful things to bring to communication. Having an intention in an email keeps your email succinct and communicates exactly what the other person needs to hear. If you have an argument with someone with an intention to resolve the situation (rather than to prove your point) you will be more effective in your communication.

A good question to ask oneself in communication is, ‘What do I want the other person to know? What do I want to communicate?’

Does your intention move the action forward or backward?
