Turn Off Any Room Lights

If you’re shooting indoors, you want your subject to only be lit by the natural light in the room. So, to keep from having conflicting light sources, and multiple shadows, and different colors of light in your shot, go ahead and turn off any existing room lights or lamps. Having those mixed lighting sources can give you some real headaches that are often surprisingly hard to fix in post (that’s short for “fixing in it Photoshop”).
