WAPTop EasyPad WAPtor
WAPTop EasyPad WAPtor is an exceptionally lightweight freeware WML editor, designed from the ground up specifically for WAP and WML. Using EasyPad WAPtor, you can create and edit WML files with ease and even preview the results when needed.
Key EasyPad WAPtor features include
An MDI editor that supports the creation and editing of multiple pages at once
An editor that features search, replace, printing, undo, and more
Toolbars, buttons, menu options, and keyboard shortcuts that all provide simple access to WML tags
Online help for all WML tags
An integrated preview pane that lets you see what your WML code will look like on a simulated device
EasyPad WAPtor is an editor that you use to create, open, and save text files as you would any other editor. EasyPad WAPtor's interface, seen in Figure D.11, is made up of an editor pane on the left, a preview pane on the right, and toolbars on top. The editor also provides basic color coding (which simplifies finding typos), word wrap, and font control.

To insert WML tags you simply click the appropriate button (or select the appropriate menu item). There is no tag-level help within the editor, but you can click the Help button at any time to obtain help on specific tags (as seen in Figure D.12).

The preview pane does not reflect changes in real time, but it can be updated at any time by clicking the Refresh button above it (and there are buttons, menu items, and keyboard shortcuts for this too). Of course, this preview pane is a simulation; you must use real emulators and devices to properly test your code.
