I've covered a lot of ground in this chapter. I covered the basic mechanics of creating a secure WML application. First, I showed you the framework in which all Web applications live and explained some of the basic tools used to secure them. Then I showed you some of the features that the WAP platform supplies you to create a secure WML application. I then covered techniques for authenticating users to your application and managing their sessions. Finally, I covered some of the deck authoring techniques that you should use to help keep your application secure.
While WAP is a new and exciting platform for building applications, it's not the first Web application platform. You've probably already created a bunch of HTML applications that you want to squeeze onto the WML browser, and the next chapter will show you how to accomplish that.
