Although the 3G networks will bring higher bandwidth, shorter latency, and improved data capabilities, these are future solutions that will take some time to filter down to the mass market. To write a usable WAP application today, be sure to keep your decks small, always define a path for simple backward navigation, and if you can, take the time to account for some of the differences in the individual devices that are on the market.
