861 Where do the ideas for your draWings
come from? hoW do you do your research? They all
come from my own life, so I keep focused on
the environment that I feel most comfortable in.
What/how I felt through experiences in everyday
life turns out to be the best material for my
drawings.
862 W
hat is the first thing you do before
sitting doWn to draW? Let things settle down over
some coffee, tea, and something to nibble on,
which results in a pile of cups and dishes on the
desk once I’ve started.
863 d
o you alWays use the same tools or do you
change depending on the piece youre Working on?
Mainly acrylic paints but occasionally color inks
and color pencils, too. It depends on what works
and the clients require.
864 d
o you prefer the classic guidelines from
m
anga or experimenting With neW channels? Classic
guidelines from the aspect of drawing. I also find
later works quite interesting because they deal
with wider range of themes than the old ones.
865 h
oW do you make your draWings come to
life? I keep drawing until I get confident. This
apparently makes it a lot easier for the audience
to feel my drawings come to life. But it often
happens that I see people show interest in the
ones that are NOT exactly my favorite, or vice
versa as well...

an interest in my drawings as well).
867 d
o you feel the need to better yourself
When it comes to your Work? to What extent? Yes.
I would like to work on more than the drawings
ordered (from my client) so that it reinforces my
expression skills through drawings. I’d like to use
methods that take more time that I cannot use
because of the limited period of time.
868 m
